8 more Days!

Can you tell I am on the countdown? I am so ready to meet our little man! I went to the Dr's today and were are slowly getting there...were dilated to a big fat 1...and 25% effaced...whooppty-do! I was hoping for a little more than that ...but..Oh well..I am very thankful for the healthy and boring pregnancy...
I think I don't even really understand that we are about to have 2 kids....I don't think I am really mentally prepared for Mom of 2 yet! But I am excited...I just have no idea how Drake is going to shake up the dynamics of our house...and I am so curious about how Sadie is going to be with him...I am also very thankful for my friends Leeanne and Lori who have offered to take care of my Sadie bug while we are delivering....
I am very thankful for the pregnancy experience and I am sure our family will feel complete as soon as Drake is here! Come on Drake! Were ready for you! House is clean...laundry is done! I have gained all the pounds I need to!!! Let's do this!

Crock pot ...Changed our lives!

So we have been in the biggest food Rut known to man. I seems like we cook 5 nights a week and we cook the same 5 things and were going crazy! So....after hearing Julia tell me about all this stuff she makes in her crock pot...I decided to get one! I also got a big slow cooker cookbook!
Today was my first attempt to make something...I made us Turkey Chili! Guess what? It was awesome! It was great to actually eat something different too! Yay Crock Pot! Had to share...its the little things!

40% off

What if everything in life was 40% off....This morning I got an Email from my good friends at the Gap! Guess what? Everything in the whole store was 40 % off today...including Sale items! Can you say I went BUCK WILD! I don't know if its because I am nesting.... But I "Needed" everything! God I love a good sale...I went to Babies R Us after and I found myself doing the math of 40% off...Then I had to remember that I wasn't at the Gap anymore...Good thing not every store is 40% off...or I would be bankrupt with a lot of stuff I don't need!

Pumpkin Mania

We took Sadie to the Dallas Arboretum today to see the Pumpkin Patch and had a great time! She definitely knows what a pumpkin is now! They had over 40,000 pumpkins there! Very fun! I had a root beer float and Drake was going crazy while we were there...Guess he likes the pumpkins too!
Only 25 more days of a family of 3...I can't believe we are going to have 2 kids...it seems so surreal... I can't believe were going to be a family of 4...well 5 with Wrigley... I am so excited for the next few months! Can we do this? We shall see! Life is good...as I am writing this I can feel Drake moving....I think he wants to come out before the 3rd! Possibly Halloween? Who knows! I'm feeling good..Just feel like there is no room for the both of us in here... I cant help but wonder...what is he going to look like... How much will he weigh? What will his personality be like? What is it going to be like to have a boy? I can't wait to have another precious baby to hold!

Sadie Loves Jumping on the bed!

She likes for Rob to throw her on the bed and after he does...she says "gain...gain" (again daddy!") Its so cute...until she gets mad at you for saying "No More Sadie, were all done!"

Texas State Fair

We all went to the Texas State fair yesterday with Amanda and Nick! We had a blast! Sadie Loved all the animals and it was so fun for us to see her getting excited!!! Rob won her a stuffed monkey and it was the highlight of our day! She was so happy and she held onto it all day!
We just love getting together with the Hamilton's...they share our love for food! We ate funnel cake, Corney dogs, Gyros, pizza , chocolate covered strawberries and lots more....It was a pregnant girls paradise!!! It was a great day!
