Memorial Day Weekend

Well it was Sadie's first Memorial Day and we had so much fun. She went swimming for the first time in her little life. Julia came to visit us for the weekend and meet Miss Sadie. We hung out. Went to lunch and Babies R Us of course. Julia is 7 months pregnant and she looks adorable! Monday we went to our friends Shawn and Missy's house and had a great time. Sadie loved the water. She is growing so gast. She is starting to look everywhere and be awake tons more! She is getting srtonger on her tummy and can lift her head up really good! We have her on a every 3 hour schedule and its going great. We truly are lucky to have such a good baby girl! But were not biased or anything! ha ha!

Robs 30th Birthday!

For Robs's 30th Birthday we went to Frisco Bar right around the corner from our house....We had so many great friends come...Lot of our neighboors came too! The guys played poker and smoked cigars all day and them we all met them at the bar for a few hours! Rob always said he wanted kids before he was 30! Well Sadie came 3 weeks early!

Pretty Girl

Sadie Kay is going great! She is 3 weeks and 3 days old! Its flying by so fast. So far we have been so lucky! She is a really easy baby and she makes us laugh all the time. She is starting to follow things with her eyes and in her baby gym she is starting to hit all the little toys! Its probably not on purpose...but never the less she is hitting them! We are starting to venture to places like target and go out to the early bird specials at dinner...were getting really brave! My sisiter Andrea took this picture of her getting out of the bath and I just loved it!

Mothers Day Visit

For mothers day my mom and my sister Andrea came to visit from California...They were here helping me with the baby. We just hung out. Watched movies, went out to lunch and went swimming! It was great to have them here!

I finally let mommy put a bow on my head!

I got this outfit from one of my sweet clients Susan...Sadie and I were ladies in lunching yesterday. We went to lunch with Abbie and Gracie to the Cheesecake factory! It was a really big day for us! Thats why Sadie got all dressed up and let me put a bow on her head...she didn't want to be the only baby girl without a bow on her head at the restauraunt! Ain't she pretty?

Ok...heres the update. Sadie is 11 days old...She is doing great! She is such a good baby! We feel so lucky! After reading this book called babywise...we have gotten her on a really good little schedule. She is only getting up once a night. Which is not too bad as far as lack of sleep goes. We are both doing great! Rob is an amazing daddy! He is always feeding her and changing her too!

We are praying for better weather soon. I'd really like to take Sadie out for some walks...but its just too cold and muggy out now. We are really looking forward to her getting a little bigger so we can get out and about!

Sadie is the best thing that has ever happened to us. We feel so lucky!
